Casino Volunteers Needed!

SNO is thrilled to announce that we are having our first fundraising casino this coming August 1st and 2nd. This is an important event in securing capital to significantly improve and potentially even expand the Shaganappi winter trails!

Our fundraising casino will be at Ace Casino on Friday August 1st and Saturday August 2nd. We need your help to fill 36 shifts! Various start times are available from 11am to 11:15 pm and ending times from 7:15pm to 3:30am, see below for more info.

Positions and Times:

**Times are identical for both days, additionally you can sign up for more than one shift, but cannot change positions!

1. General Managers: 

   1. Shifts Available (2 each day): 11am to 7:15pm and 7pm to 3:30am 

   2. Role Description: Supervising all aspects of the casino to ensure proper functioning, working closely with the casino facility manager.

2. Bankers:

   1. Shifts available (2 each day): 11am to 7:15pm and 7pm to 3:30am 

   2. Role Description: Supervising the cash room including documentation of transactions and overseeing chips and cash management.

3. Cashiers:

   1. Shifts available (2 each day): 11:15am to 7:30pm and 7:15pm to 3:15am

   2. Role Description: Similar to a bank teller role, accepting and counting chips and redistributing cash.

4. Chip Runner:

   1. Shifts available (2 each day): 11:15am to 7:30pm and 7:15pm to 3:15am

   2. Role Description: Opens and closes game tables and delivers chips to and from the banker and the game tables.

5. Countroom Supervisors:

   1. Shifts available (1 each day): 11:15pm to 3:30am

   2. Role Description: Oversees the countroom, which includes sorting and counting chips and cash.

6. Countroom Staff:

   1. Shifts available (5 each day): 11:15pm to 3:30am

   2. Role Description: Counting, recording and amalgamating of all cash and chips.

7. On-Call Volunteers:

   1. Multiple openings for both day, let us know what times and shifts you are available for, and if needed, we will call/email you if a position needs to be filled closer to the casino dates,
