Spring Teardown help needed!

shagcomms

Join us this Saturday or Sunday from 1pm to 4pm for work parties, many hands make light work (and come enjoy the warm temperatures outside)!

With the extended warm weather, we are in the midst of cleaning up the golf course from its winter operations, and we need your help!

If you're interested and available to help with teardown anytime, please sign up by clicking here . Live tracking of teardown tasks are listed on the Spring Teardown Sheet here.

Please note the main access points to Shaganappi are now locked on evenings and weekends, although the gate will be dummy locked for this weekend starting at 9am both days.

If you're able to help out, please consider bringing:

  • Backpack: to carry pin flags and signs that fit, water, snacks, etc. (empty Pringles containers are helpful to carry pin flags, SNO will put some in the red trailer north of shed 4 )

  • Tools: Square-headed pliers to remove pin flags, wire snips for cable ties

  • Work gloves if you have them for metal poles and bamboo.

  • Waterproof footwear with good tread. (there is some snow and ice around in shaded areas

Thank you for your help in this very abnormal winter!

P.S. Consider filling out the end-of-winter survey and let us know what you think of the winter operations at Shaganappi Golf Course!
